Most peptide brand sites have BlogPosting schema present and completely broken — empty headline, description, and date fields. Here's how to check and fix yours.
Most peptide brand websites we audit have some form of structured data in place — a BlogPosting or Article schema block sitting in the page source — and almost none of it is actually working. The schema is present, technically valid JSON-LD, and completely empty where it counts: headline, description, and date fields rendering as blank strings instead of pulling real content.
It's rarely a missing-schema problem. It's a broken-binding problem: the schema template was built to pull from CMS fields, but the binding syntax silently fails in specific fields — publishers add the schema once, see no errors, and never realize the fields are rendering empty because nothing about it produces a visible warning.
application/ld+json.headline, description, and datePublished contain real text or empty quotes.Rich snippets — the byline, date, and headline treatment search results can show for article content — depend on these fields actually resolving. Broken bindings mean your content is eligible in theory and invisible in practice, which is a quiet loss: nothing errors, nothing warns you, the listing just never improves.
Where a CMS platform's native field-binding works reliably in a schema field, use it — reference the real title, description, and publish-date fields directly. Where the platform's binding doesn't resolve inside strict JSON-LD validation (a known limitation on some site builders), a lightweight runtime script that populates the schema fields from already-correct on-page content — the rendered title, meta description, and visible publish date — is a reliable fallback that doesn't require rebuilding the template.
Technical fixes like this are part of the same SEO foundation work behind the ranking gains in our case studies — structured data is invisible to visitors but directly affects how search engines represent your content.
