Billing and payment suspensions are a separate track from content policy. Here is how Google's payment verification works and how peptide brands can resolve it.
Not every suspension is about your ads. Google runs a separate track for billing and payment problems, and a peptide brand can fall into it even with spotless copy. The good news is that the resolution path is clearly documented, and most of it depends on getting your paperwork consistent.
Everything below comes from Google's Billing and payment suspensions page. Use it with our account suspended appeal guide, which covers content-policy suspensions.
Google lists several causes:
Google may temporarily pause an account and ask you to verify your payment method or pay a small amount or an outstanding balance. This is a pause, not a suspension. Admins receive an email and an in-account alert, and only admin users can unpause the account. If the issue is not resolved, or Google's checks fail, you may move into a suspension and an appeal.
| Method | How it works | Watch out for |
| Verification code | Google makes a temporary charge of no more than $1.95 USD, refunded within 30 days. The last 6 digits of the charge are the code. | It can take up to 7 days to appear on your statement. |
| Payment | Pay an outstanding balance or a system-set amount. | Bank transfers take longer, so the account may stay paused longer. |
| Document upload | Submit a government ID, proof of address and an image of your payment method. Other details may be requested, such as legal name, Payments profile name, address and date of birth. | Review can take a few days. |
Google notes the verification task sits under Admin, then Policy, then Account, and that the former Advertiser verification page is now called Account.
For peptide and supplement brands, consistency is the control that matters. Align these before you launch:
Payment problems are also one of the quickest ways to lose time. If your account is suspended for content as well, work through Unacceptable business practices separately, because each suspension has its own appeal.
A payment suspension is usually the faster fix, so confirm the notice type before anything else. If the account is banned for policy reasons, follow our full recovery guide.
Google lists unpaid balances, concerns about declined payments, suspicious payment activity, chargeback requests against valid Google Ads balances and promotional code abuse. For suspicious activity it may limit spend or suspend the account.
Select Complete Payment Verification in the right-hand panel, then verify each payment method using a verification code, a payment, or a document upload.

No. Google says to submit one appeal at a time and that too many for the same suspension may not be processed. Suspected misuse can pause appeal processing for seven days.
